THE WALLS REALLY CREATE A HUGH SOUNDSTAGE WITH DEEP BASS. I SOLD MY ABBY/2 BAILY SUB SET-UP TO GET THESE AND IT WAS A HUGH UPGRADE. THESE SPEAKERS REALLY MAKE A 300B OR 2A3 S.E.T AMP SING BEAUTIFUL MUSIC. Info from Cain & Cain: The side exit of the tractrix flare allows a close proximity to a corner if so desired, yielding an expanded flare that continues unbroken well in to the room furthering it's already impressive low end sonics. Bass, is at the very least �impressive� to be polite. Dramatically unlike many back loaded horns, bass from this system is big and textured reaching much lower than what is expected. The wide baffle offers true to life scale of midbass and vocals especially in larger rooms even on very low power. The W3 easily creates a vast and deep acoustic panorama on low power even in the largest of rooms, without having to loose floor space. The W3 represents a near ideal solution to the low power and high efficiency problems of -size-. While these speakers contain a large volume of acoustic power by virtue of their size, they intelligently use the walls and room to their advantage to the benefit of the low end bass response. They are, easy to place. I'M GETTING OUT OF S.E.T AND CAN'T REALLY FIT THESE BEAUTIES AS A SECOND SYSTEM ANYWHERE IN MY HOME,HENCE THE SALE. PREFER A LOCAL PICK-UP. PAYPAL ADD 3%
