Description:
|
(1979?) Klpisch La Scala's
These are the LSI-BT version.
(La Scala Industrial Black textured Splits)
BT=Black textured Paint on wood, these are not the fiberglass ones ...they would be BG=Black Glass.
(1979 suspected based on driver/xover compliment, jack plate design, and "1 79" stamp on woofer cone)
K-77 (round magnet)
K-55-v (spring terminals)
K-43 (200w industrial model woofers)
AA Networks (original unmolested condition)
Silver/Metal Cup Handles, Jack plates etc.
(not the later(?) black versions)
Suprisingly clean inside all units (as when rx'd).
Generally VG condition with expected 30 years of transportation scratches etc. A few (dimed-size) marks which could be touched up with black paint.
Higher-resolution pics available. Though I have not yet detailled every single flaw in this set, pics should be representative.
Pickup/Delivery:
Suburban Philadelphia Pick-up Convenient to I-476 and I-95 (use PHL airport as general location).
Local-ish delivery might be possible with arrangements.
Will consider trades cash.
Desired items:
K-33's in newish or otherwise good shape/cheek tweeters (JBL, Beyma, Make some suggestions)/Crown D-45 or similar/less pretty la scalas (for use of bass section/doghouse, horns not needed)/etc./folded horn subwoofers (cerwin earthquake, B-52 etc)/ who knows... make an offer/ask questions etc.
Also Available:
ALK Engineering Custom ES500T extreme slope crossover networks (see http://www.alkeng.com/es_xo.html)
Emilar 800hz Bowtie horns (EH-800) with Selenium Adapters and 1977 Klipsch K-55-v's (see other post)
