With a little TLC, this classic can be returned to glory. I bought this from the original owner a little while ago and later discovered the phono section needed repair. Then, in an instance of being your own worst enemy, I managed to partially dissasemble the tuner after the tuner string slipped.
Anyway, for anyone with slightly more nimble fingers than I, fixing the tuner won't be a big problem. You can see a photo of the two tuner bits below.
The amp section is strong and clean. There are a couple of scratches in the faceplate, but the pictures actually make them seem MUCH more noticeable than they are in real life. Really, you can only see them from certain angles.
The most noticeable blemish is a big nick in the wood case.
I was going to make this a learning project, but I caved and just bought another, nearly perfect example.
I am happy to ship, but probably this would be a better deal for local pickup in SoCal. (I am in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles).
