After a little mixup with a deal out in Reno, Tri-cal (Emanuel) hooked me up big time with a technics RS-1506 in the original boxes. Sent to me very well packed (as well packed as anything I have ever received). What makes it even better is the generosity shown not only by giving me the Technics for posting a SPEC deal, but for even covering the shipping to send it out to me.
For one of the "new" guys, hes earned my respect.

Good to hear that deal worked out well for both of you. :thmbsp: Now how about a picture of the R2R.

Hey Dave, Same goes for you too. That Reno deal is looking even better know since I last visited E-bay. Did you see how much a Spec 1 is going for? It is now at 1025.00 with 6 days to go. I would consider it over priced since you can get Spec 1's for around 300.00 to 400.00. But how many do you see like this one listed. One owner who bought it oversees, probably in the military since the box is brown. With original manual and very clean. The seller says it has been in storage for 25 years. Does this sound FAMILIAR?
Plus the TX9500II ihe has listed is over 500.00 with a week to go.
Well it doesn't matter to me how much they go for since I am not selling mine no matter how much I would be tempted. Man it is extremely hard to find this stuff like this.
By the way, I just scored a couple of great deals recently. I will have to post them soon. Today I got a CR-83D Akai 8 Track for 25.00 at Goodwill. Man I couldn't believe the condition. Absolutley Mint and the head on it looks like it hardly ever was used.
Last week got a Pioneer CT-f 950 Cassette for 80.00 off of CL here locally. Get this, from the original owner who was stationed in the Phillipines 1979-1980. Original brown box and manual. He said he used it very little, like maybe 40 hours max.
Lifes good!!!!!
