Last year the hotels restaurant was closed but this year it will be open.
I stopped in the restaurant today and checked out a menu. Prices seemed darn right cheap and their hours are 8 am till 11 pm. After a short chat with the owner he agreed to open a bit earlier to give our guests a little more time to grab a bit to eat for breakfast. I believe he will be opening 1/2 - 1 hour earlier giving everyone plenty of time to get their fill before hitting the fest.

A quick glimpse at the menu and I recall breakfast being something like 2.25 for eggs,toast and hash brown. Dats cheap !

Cannot vouch for the quality though.

Is that hash house right down the road still open- forgot the name of it. Ray & I ate breakfast there two years ago and it was damn good, too.

I didn't make it last year, but the year before the restaurant was open. Food was actually quite good, service was friendly. Not bad at all.

There are many Coney Islands that have ok food and some are even 24 hours. If time allows I will try to print up a couple of maps with some near by chow houses.
