In all seriousness though, it's great to see just how close the standings are and some of the anomalies in the stats. I've only outpointed the Spartans 311-284 overall but my Asskickers are 4-1 while the Red-Headed Stepchildren ( The Spartans) are 1-4.

ok spartans...I've got a proposition for ya.
You seem to have one QB that's out...and another that hasn't been performing all that great, and he's day to day. So far he's got 1 pass td and 5 interceptions.
At the moment...I've got two decent QB's. You look like you can use a little boost...and I won't be able to play both QB's...so...you can use Gus Frerotte if you would like. He's been performing well and is supposed to start this Sunday (again). This will only be for this Sunday...I do want him back next week!
Let me know...and if we're going to do this...let's get it done early in the week...as I'm nnot sure about eligibility with trades.

oh no...I just looked and he's got a bye this week. Sorry...I'll see what else I can do. I just got rid of Aaron Brooks...I'll take a look. Actually...I got a bunch of guys sitting out this week...I better get busy! If I have anyone left over...you welcome to them for the week.

I appreciate the offer, GF. I'll take a look but my troubles appear more self induced than anything else. Trying to figure who is going to play up to their potential either is luck or a very fine art.

Sports forecasting has become increasingly more difficult but this is alot more fun than predicting what a pre-existing team may do. Inspite of all the research you could do luck has a powerful effect... just like the real thing. Hey Fish... do you have studs I can "borrow" this week? ;) MikE
