Hi, I have a marantz 2270 and when the radio is not selected I can hear what sounds like the radio through the speakers. It is very faint. I am just wondering if this is normal. Why is it happening? Thanks

The tuner is not powered down when not in use ahd the proximity of the contatcts on the rotary switch sometimes allow this. No, the speaker wires are not acting like an antenna.
