Welborne Labs flubbed on me: No acknowledgement or status on my order for over a month, and when I pinged for status, finally and I thought courteously, after several days of no response, just refunded my money. I have a patient but likely unhappy customer, and need a good source for some Cardas tonearm wire.

Anybody know where else I can get some (and fairly quickly)?

Thanks in advance,
Rich P

First one that comes to mind is our AK sponsor, Parts ConneXion.

I've never been able to find Cardas at PE. I've started going to DIYCable.com. They've always been responsive. And, if all else fails, Cardas can direct you to a vendor. Mrs. Cardas is quite responsive to e-mail inquiries.

Parts ConneXion...not Parts Express. Similar names...but different.

My bad......of course you are correct. They also carry BG caps, which is nice.

PC did not have what I needed. What I needed was not shielded cables, or simple 2-twisted pairs. What I needed is all 5 colors (black, white, blue, red, green), in 33 awg. I had to go to Canada to find it, outside of Welborne Labs (who I will never lean on again). I went with Take Five Audio, north of Toronto. I'll let yall know when it gets here...

Enjoy,
Rich P

He carries a pretty wide variety of fairly boutiquey parts.

From the Michael Percy catalogue, under the heading, "Cardas Wire":

*33ga… For rewiring tonearms, an industry standard for this application, specify white, red, blue, green, black colors (no preference we'll give black)… $1.50 ft.
