The funny thing is most are available for free downloading on the net.

Anything to make a buck I guess.

I see some that are for sale are printed off scan copies off the web. Just unreal.

I MAY have it. Send me your email address and if I do, I will send a copy of the scan.

I should bury my head in shame as I had been watching those manual auctions (unbelieveable!). One of the bidders on the MI-3 including the winner are past customers. I emailed the second bidder and asked if he wanted both Original Owners and Service manual for his high bid.

It will be shipped to Switzerland tomorrow. I feel a little bit bad about it but the winning bidder is a BIG seller of manuals and he felt it to be worth big bucks as it is an extremely hard manual to find. Yes, a scan does the same thing bit if you are an owner of vintage equipment, it's always nice to have the original manuals (boxes too).

Does anyone have this?

Much appreciated.

I have the MR78 service manual. My copy say starting with serial # AD1001. If you think that will work for you, I can scan it into PDF for you. My copy has some water damage (moldy on the edge). Let me know. I was not aware the Juerg did not have a copy posted at his site. I can send him a copy so he can post at his site also.

I did in fact have the McIntosh MR-78 Service manual.

If any member needs it, please feel free to email me at vintageaudiostore@gmail.com. I will only send it to members of AK so please include your AK member name with your request.

My policy on this is to allow MEMBERS of the forum free access (altough a contribution to AK would be nice). So if not a member, come on and join a great group of folks and enjoy and I will be happy to send you the info too! :thmbsp:
