View Full Version : New Audiophile in the House
I'm proud to annouce the arrival of Jaden Michael Walsdorf. Born the 16th day of October, 2003 at 8:40 pm. The delivery went smoothly and mom and baby are resting comfortably, though Dad is a bit tired. What a week; the birth of my third son and the marathon on Sunday! I think I'll just take it EZ the next couple of days.

JDaniel 10-17-2003, 08:52 AM Major congrats Mike. I have 3 myself, and each day with them is a gift.
Now, start that audiophile off right. Get him to sleep by playing some Dave Brubeck or Dianna Krall. Start them out early.

I didn't even know you were expecting  Congrats!
Sandy asked "how big"? Well, he's 6 lbs, 12 ozs. and he was a "premmie" by 3 weeks. If he's anything like his youngest brother he'll be wearing their clothes real soon! Of course, he may take after his oldest and remain petite for awhile. Ah, the mysteries of life. So far he's been a real champ with all the "poking" he's been through. They took his "newspaper photo" today in the recovery room [something new] and managed to get one that didn't have him looking like an alien or a cover for the Post. We also took some pictures of all the boys together so I'll get one posted sometime. Man, I'm tired, gotta get some rest... Zzzzzzz... zzzzzz... zzz...

WildWest 10-18-2003, 08:39 AM Well congrats MikE. I remember the "baby days". They grow up and are out the door before you can blink. Someone reminded me once....Children are not your life, they merely pass through it. Glad all is well in your home!
gonefishin 10-18-2003, 07:35 PM Dang MikE...I go to work for 48 hours...and don't check the computers...and look what you've done!

Gets lots of sleep now, if you can.
Congratulations to you and your growing clan.
Hey MikE, congrats. Didn't somebody at some point say it gets easier after the first? ;)
The toughest and most gratifying for me is helping out in the wee hours walking around with a little head on my shoulder.
BrianB 10-22-2003, 12:48 PM Holy cow - I can't believe I missed this announcement!
