Brian, have you ever used this antenna before. How does it compare to the basic wire "t" shaped antennas or cheaper ones like the MD ribbon antenna or the smaller Godar one.
Right now i can get a station i like and it comes in between zero and 1 on the signal strength meter cutting in and out. If i could pull in alot of stations much clearer and more powerfull i think something like this would be a good investment.
Thanks

Hi Haoleb,
As a matter of fact, the ST-2 is the antenna that I now use for demos of all my tuners. It's extremely effective, in my opinion, and a huge step up from directional wire and ribbon antennas.
I think that you'd be very pleased with the ST-2. But don't just take my word for it - ask Grumpy, who recently received one from me, or Dave918, who picked up a trade-in Fanfare omnidirectional antenna that is virtually identical...
Cheers,
Brian

Haoleb,
I have the Fanfare FM-2G, which is a 1/2-wave dipole antenna that I'm quite happy with. I live in a very rural area, so some type of FM antenna is a must. With the FM-2G I can pull in stations 50 to 80 miles away (even a couple that are closer to 100 miles) with a strong enough signal strength to make them listenable. There are a lot of variables involved with FM antennas, mounting location, geographic area, cable and tuner quality, so it's hard to say whether or not an antenna that works well for me will work equally as well for someone else - But, the FM-2G is a very good antenna for the money.
