Which model Infinity's are these? Reference 3's? Not sure and other party doesnt know. He cant find model # anywhere. If these are 3's are these any good? Thanks

Hi Rick, Actually, not to far away, but he doesnt have any gear to hook them up to. He asked me if he could bring them over here, but not sure about this either. The reason I needed the speaker id was to research the model, then I could make an informed decision on taking up his offer to bring them here. Hopefully someone here can id these Infinity's. doctordirt said maybe sl series, so I will research that line. Thanks.

They look like Infinity Crescendo CS3006 speakers to me. I've never heard a pair of them so can't say how they sound. If you do a search for Infinity Crescendo on eBay, there is an auction for a pair of CS3007, which are larger than the ones pictured and have 2 woofers each.

Those are the Infinity REFERENCE FIVE speakers. 10in woofer 5in midrange emit-r tweeter. I have the REFERENCE SIX and I like them alot.

Turns out these are Reference Four's. The seller called me this am and asked if I was still interested in them. He said that on the back of the speaker posts it said Reference Four. I told him that I would be interested as long as they met certain criteria. IE: surrounds would have to be in excellent shape as well as cabinets and grills...He stated that the surrounds were fine, the cabinets were at least a 9/10 as well as the grills. Make a long story short, he arrived at the time agreed upon, brought them in, hooked them up and now they have a new home.
