Hello everyone!
Is there a scene or short film or something that shows Ringo Starr going
around the city drumming on everything he walks by? For example, he's going down a fire escape backwards and drumming on the stairs?

I vaguely remember this but can't place it.

I seem to remember something about that. Ringo was awol for an afternoon or something in one of their movies 64/65 "Help" maybe

Maybe you're thinking of A Hard Day's Night.

It was in "A Hard Days Night". "This Boy" or "Ringo's Theme" as it was also called was playing as he walked dejectedly through the city.

Great music in a Beatles movie. Whodathunkit....
Ringo has taken a lot of grief over the years.
He fostered it as the goofiest member of a
group with a decidedly offkilter edge.
He had the most number one singles of any former Beatle
(a fine trivia question if ever there was, tho the songs
and support tended to be from his Beatles bandmates).
Turns out he was the perfect drummer for the greatest band.
All he did was keep perfect time.
What kind of drummer does a thing like THAT?

I've believed that for a long time. Every Beatle song you listen to the drumming is just right, not too much, not too little. Just right.
