bugged enough people and after about 15 attempts got it.
these are not vintage but they fit damn thats sweet.
a while back bought 2 output stages from a commercial amp.
originally just to have the 18 pairs of OE sanken 2sc3263/2sa1294 pairs.
at 24.00 each not too bad.
when I recieved them noticed quickly they were built like a tank.
find out these were new replacements, quick service repairs, complete units.
2 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 12 inch heat sink, neg power board, pos power board, center driver board, and all components and heavy cables, ready to go in the amp.
also they are for a Apogee sound international X00 series SA,CA or DA.
and these are for the big one, 800 line. rated at about 900w each 4ohm confirmed to go to 2. The rep I got the schematic from said he's had these up to 1150.
They have these at Daytona speedway.
the longer I looked, the more I was drooling to use the whole pack.
There are/were 3 different apogee companies
the ones who made those planer/ribbon speakers, you know the ones amps hate.
Apogee digital the ones with the pro audio/music dac gear.
and these guys. the ones who like to fill auditoriums
this apogee was bought out by Bogen, so getting info is well, a pain
its a 2 voltage setup, with returns for limit, clipping and heat. all amp functions are there, bridging and level are controlled on other boards.
if I can frankenstien a power supply,dc and heat protection, and minimal level control, I can have one hell of a post amp.
I dont intend on even trying to achive any more than about half the rated for 8ohm and no less than 4ohm
the oe power supply had 120 and 60 volt rails. Im going to have to drop this to 30 60 rails to keep it reasonable. dual voltage center taps are'nt cheap.
