I know from past threads, we have quite a few Diana fans on the forum. She is touring again this summer. (after having her twin boys.)

Tour info is on her website. Oakland, Vegas, Boston et. al. so far.

I just bought my tickets for the Boston concert in July. Didn't see any Ohio concerts, so had to get the ticket to fly to Boston. She is worth is to me!!!! Fired up.

"All for You" would be a great start. Her earlier "Stepping Out" and "Love Scenes" are also excellent.

I'm not all that impressed with "Live in Paris." It sounds way to clean for a "live" performance and the French audience sounds like a really polite applause machine.

Does Elvis ever show up on stage with her?

Does anyone have a video or cd of her performance at the 1999 Newport Jazz Festival?

No, silly. He's been dead for almost 30 years. ;)

Welcome home! Don't hold back, 'Toze.:D

Crack a cold one and relax.

eljr, if you like Diana, do yourself and aural favor and check out some Patricia Barber. Cafe Blue, Nightclub, and Modern Cool are esp. good.

Try "When I look in your eyes" Also the new one "From this moment on" if you want a more bigband feel. You can't go wrong with "Live in Paris"
You might want to try "It happened one night" Holly Cole Trio for something a little different. All of these are great sounding Recordings.

I have for many years enjoyed Only Trust Your Heart, along with All For You, FWIW.

"Live in Paris" is a very nice introduction to Diana and the very talented musicians that accompanied her during that 2002 show.

Thanks again, I finally got around to playing Cafe Blue (SACD) the past few days. Very nice, great suggestion.

Not a huge fan, but she did the best version of Willie/Patsy Cline's "Crazy" that I've ever heard. :smoke:
