My LINN Axis has been transformed...

Thanks to the good people ( and I mean that) at Shellys Stereo in Topanga my Linn Axis TT has been transformed.

I took it in for a new Adikt cartridge, also by Linn, and the TT tech (Stan) there gave it a nice workover with new oil, new belt and of course the proper install and set up of the new cartridge.

WOW!!!! what a difference... Just amazing!!!

Thanks to all of the people on this forum that offered suggestions and help. My west coast vinyl rig is finally coming together.

BTW, I changed some things around so I would not have to use longer cables from the TT to the amp.

I have considered a Linn Axis II on a couple of occasions, but never have found much information about it. Glad you like your axis so much.

The Axis is a fine table and really very close to the LP 12. It's original new price was also very close to the LP-12, so many buyers jumped over it to get the big Kahuna. The Axis is easier to setup and milk all the performance possible out of it.
