I went to a lecture/debate they had in the late 70's somewhere in Westwood. It was quite wild and a guy showed up during the question and answer period who was blind and in a wheelchair. The guy blamed Dr. Leary for providing LSD to the guy that shot him and he held Leary responsible. It got really out of hand after that guy spoke.

I think I read somewhere Leary had some of his ashes put into a metal casing then shot into space, where it will remain in orbit until the Earths gravitational pull sucks it back toward the planet, creating a "shooting star".

Ive got a few albums that Timothy Leary wrote the lyrics to,the 1st album is called 100 Micrograms, the 2nd album is called 250 Micrograms & the 3rd album is called The Incredible Lightness ov Being Molecular.

I picked up a crap load of albums about 10 years ago from a yard sale & the Leary albums were part of the haul along with a mint condition Charles Manson album.

I have not listened to them in years,if i remember rightly they sound exactly like you'd expect them to sound,very tripped out.

Wow! Timothy Leary albums. Now thats probably something to hold on to. I've heard of Manson recordings but was unaware of Leary doing recordings. That would have to be an inrteresting listen to say the least.

I wonder if it would be possible to step on all the crack with LSD. Would everyone stop all of the violence and criminal activity related to cocaine addiction and suddenly become friends with an outlook of positive change. Now THAT would be a hell of an irony. The government finding that LSD could stop drug related violence, and they give it out. Its not like they havent done more ridiculous things. We know alcohol is a life destroyer and it is legal. Hell this crazy concept could save all of the millions of $$ wasted on the "war on drugs" yearly. THAT money could go toward rehabilitation facilities instead of prison (criminal training facility) time for people who need help.

Actually LSD bombs were tested (or at least studied) in the 50's. What a concept! Have your enemy suddenly want to be your friend.. No wonder they didnt do a lot of testing with that. What good is war without bloodshed?
