turntables

a neighbor is selling two sansui turntables. model SR-333 and FR-D3. both for $20.00. both are in good working condition. are these good turntables? any input would be appreciated

For 20 bucks how bad can they be? The SR 222 was considered one of the better entry level turntables in the late 70s, and while more complex and more automatic often does not mean better, the 333 might be pretty reasonable. I would doubt if either is going to be a linn beater, but you rarely find high end tables for $20. It happens, but while you are looking for that 124 in the dumpster, these might do fine.
