Photo uploading question

This may not be the appropriate forum but I couldn't seem to find one for general forum related questions/issues.

My question is: Why is it that when uploading photos to accompany a post, some member's photos (such as mine) appear in the post as a thumbnail that must be clicked on to enlarge, while photos uploaded by some other members appear full size in the post? :scratch2:

The photos that appear in the text box are often at a photo storage website like photobucket.
