new tonearm help!

I'm considering buying a new tonearm. Can someone point me to some directions on how to install one? I understand that I may need to buy a new armboard or modfy the existing one, but I really don't understand that too well.

I have a Systemdek IIX and am considering the Origin Live modified Rega 250 arm.

Hi Moe,

Hard to say as it will depend on the shape and size of the existing hole in the armboard. Can't recall exactly what arm was on the IIX - straight and black AFAIR. Best approach might be to make sure the RB250 comes with it's tonearm mounting template and compare that to the existing hole before you buy or make another armboard.
