I have a pair of Realistic Mach II's I am finishing up and all that is left is to reattach the badges. The original installation had the badges going through the grill cloth and attaching to the frame.
As a test I put a small hole through some of the spare cloth and stretched it and the hole ended up being quite large!
My question is has anyone else tried to reattach the badges? Did you burn a hole to seal it on creating it?
Thoughts or suggestions?

If it is synthetic cloth, you can use a hot paperclip to poke the hole through and if effect seal it by melting it. This wouldn't work on natural fiber.

What I ended up doing is using some scrap cloth and one of my wife's embroidery hoops to simulate the stretch (her idea!). I them heated up a sewing needle and poked a couple of holes. I found if I used a steady hand I could make my holes very nicely!
Pics soon but I am using will be .080 weed whacker string from the badge through the grill and gluing these back into the original holes in the grill frame. Size fits like a glove.

You could try double sided tape and just tape the badges to the cloth. Lowes or Home Depot sells some clear double sided tape that would be invisable.
I just used it to hold a cooling fan on the bottom of my SX-1010 receiver that has a hot regulator board upside down on the bottom deck. It really holds it on but can be remove if necessary.

Well thanks CharlieBee, you gave me a good idea. I used a small piece of double sided tape to temporarily mount the badge for spacing (vertical and horizontal alignment) and will mark the badge for gluing them through the holes on the grill. Gluing will commence this afternoon.
