I was watching this one too. I'm sure Shain's not complaining!:D

I was gonna shoot at it, too..... until it went over $300.
The seller sold these (mint):
TU-9900 $760
CA-3000 900
BA-3000 710
SR-929 525
(do the math...)
$2895!!!!!!
Probably more than they retailed for over 25 years ago....

I was watching that one too. Can't believe it went for over $500. Last year they were bringing $300 or so. But then again, last year TU-919s weren't fetching over a $1000 either.

:dunno: I thought we were in a recession?!

It's becoming pretty clear that the economy is picking up.
Stock market, employment, economic indicators, growth, are all up.
Interest rates still low.

Hey Shain,
"Flat out like a lizard having a drink" is the phrase that comes to mind. :) Too much work and not enough time to play. Been buying just a few LP's.
Glad the parts were useful. It was kinda fun to tear apart a receiver into 200 different bits! And the trannie makes a darn good door stop! :p:
Thankfully not all my purchases are duds. Won a AU317 off ebay that was decribed as non-working. Just needed pre to power connectors. :D
cheers
Jack
