I was pondering listening to the Multi-channel layer of SACDs using my Denon DVD 2930. I guess you can not output digitally this layer, so it needs to go via 6 analogue cables to the MHT200 or MX135 or whatever av amp you are using.
My question is what "mode" setting or (music 1,2,3,4 etc) should one use for these sort of recordings?:scratch2: Anyone actually doing this? I'm sure Ivan has it set up for multichannel!

I thought that it had to be "external"... (I have a MX-119)

External is it. IT's only an analog out and that is the only analog in multi channel mode.

Last night I listened to the Dark Side of the Moon SACD in full surround. I am pretty dedicated to two channel audio, but that album in surround is mind blowing.

That is exactly what I want to do except I have no centre or subwoofer yet so it has to be 4.0 for now :tears:

Jr,
What about the drum solo from the FZ Halloween DVD-A? A very high multi-channel WOW factor if nothing eles, my center channel is bi-amped using two channels of my MC207 and the solo had the meters going WAY over to the right!
Non-hijack response - EXTERNAL
