Claude Hopkins - Swing Time

Recorded February 21, 1961 and May 22, 1963. This compilation combines the original Swingville Records albums Swing Time! (Swingville 2041) and Let's Jam (Swingville 2020).

I bought this during Concord's Summer Music Blowout sale last year. I was unfamiliar with Claude Hopkins and since it was only $3 I thought I would take a chance. Unlike a few other albums "I took a chance on", this one is a keeper. If you like swing era jazz then this will certainly appeal to you.
