I need a Teac 3340S Remote Plug or a RC-120 remote that works. Anyone have one or know where I can get one? I tried Oaktree and Rolf. Neither of them has one. Thanks.

Dave, you can make a jumper if you wanna test the deck.
Let me know and I dig up a picture here.

Thanks for your reply. I have already made a jumper from pin 1 and pin 11 and the deck works. I just didn't want to keep the jumper on because I have read that it might burn something up if I do. I don't know if that is the case or not. Perhaps you can shed some light on that.

Never heard about a jumper damaging anything, but solder a jumper on the inside of the switch between 1 + 11 is the best way of course.

ETA: Darn, I just noticed how old this thread is.

Sorry to get O.T. but I used to own one of those also. It's an awesome machine. I got it because it has the track sink, and I used to play drums in a band. (agent tapes) I had it hooked up to a DBX 155 and it was as quiet as digital, with easy headroom, instead of cracking up the way digital does. :)
