I was going to tackle a project like this: http://www.ultimatecharger.com/dish.html for amateur radio use, but the satellite I was going to use decided to have a battery meltdown and stop working :thumbsdn:

I managed to setup my minidish to recieve Echostar 7... but I would like to have a BUD setup to scan the skies. (fun to watch sat on my T639.. if it ever gets fixed)

I still have a 3' metal dish and various hardware sitting in my basement...thinking one of these days it might get used as a Wifi reflector :D
