I just wanted to let you know that I received the package of cd's that you sent in the mail- it arrived here earlier today. I am sure I will enjoy listening to them very much and I appreciate the time you took to make them for me.
The thing is, I dont know if you will see this message. I noticed that I havent seen you post on AK in a while and you are no longer in the Members list, though there is a registered member named mOOn (minus the dog suffix) but he's not you according to his photo, birthdate etc.
Can someone fill me in here if I missed anything??
Sincerely,
B/F

What threw me off is if you click on Members M, the first listing is mOOn, for some reason its first even though mo should come after ma, mb, mc....mn in the alphabetical arrangement.

Hey I'm still around guys, just don't get the time to stop in much anymore. Launching the new business has me working double shifts most every day of the week & the rest of the time is spent trying to take care of everything else in between. (Mostly sleep.) Glad you guys like the tunes though. One of these days maybe I'll remember to get Grumpy's package out to him. It's only been sitting here collecting dust for over a year now! (Sorry Grumpy. Please send me your address again & I promise to get that sucker out to you asap. REALLY!)
On a lighter note... I have had a little time to enjoy some new music while working. Picked up some great sealed 60's psychedelia from vinyl.com.
The United States Of America - Self Titled (1969)
The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band - Part 1 (1967)
The Blues Project - Projections (1967)
All excellent IMHO.
I've also been digging on Van Morrison's Astral Weeks, some Elliot Smith (who was an amazing singer/song writer) and a few other oddballs, so the tunes are still rolling!
Anyway... I Hope everyone's doing well.

BTW... Here's a shameless plug. ;)

I got a box from the mOOn man a while back myself, and it was full of GREAT stuff !! The Tom Waits and the Horton Heat stuff stand out for me. The time and effort spent shows a great deal.
The "Hillbilly mOOn mix" still sees fairly steady duty in the old cd player :D :D
