In honour of Canada Day today, hows about we play some of our fav Canadian bands and performers. Think I am going to cue up some Guess Who and Blue Rodeo right now. :)

Laugh if you want, but my fave Guess Who tunes are "Life in the Bloodstream", "Star Baby", & "Clap For the Wolfman". Another Canadian group that I like was Lighthouse- They had a very nice song in early '73 called "Pretty Lady".

Holly Cole spinning, right now.

Great Big Sea up next, followed by John McDermott

I'll probably dust off the Gordon Lightfoot LPs, later.

Never really thought about the date but it's funny, everything I've listened to so far is Canadian;

Holly Cole - temptation
Ray Montford - shed your skin
Blue Rodeo - five days in July

I've finally got some time to just listen and do some tube rolling; the new 2A3's are sounding pretty nice in the bass and CD's are amazingly not screaming at me to get to vinyl yet (love this AudioNote DAC).

Next up I think I'll try an Amperex in the line-stage and some Cowboy-Junkies, Greg de Denus Trio and Sara McLachlan.
