Sir Elton has been rocking long enough (and successfully enough) that he can make covers out of anything he dang well pleases, regardless of how we peons feel about it.

(If you don't like Elton's "pop" personna he's been sporting in the last couple of decades, you need to dig a little deeper - try Madman across the Water. Much better!)

Thanks for the link to that commercial. That was a hilarious commercial and I actually bought the CD's back then because of it.
