Oh my God!!!!:yikes:
According to that seller's description --and since the seller seems to be an established German seller with bricks-and-mortar store, presumably it is reasonably trustworthy-- that 2600 sat for 28 years after purchase, in the original carton, unused. The pics look like it, too - even the boxes look pretty new, as if they just "sat there".
That has to be one of the "ultimate" audio finds... bet it sells for a very heavy premium! Wonder if anyone will hit the BIN at over 11K Euros?

11,500 Euros is a lot of money. I've seen quite a few sales on eBay that were described as never having been out of the box, when the truth was that the owner had simply saved the box.
This one certainly looks very, very nice, but the scuffs in pic #8 make me question whether or not it's unused.

I think this auction is only a teaser, to get customers in his store. He had the 2600 in the auction before for 9.999,-€ and did not sell......

If it did sit in the box, it looks like it sat in an open box. You can see the dust pattern from the vents on the side rail.

This seller can give classes on how to take quality photos to put on ebay. It never fails to amaze me at the poor quality, out-of-focus, dimly lit photos taken at the worst possible angles of beautiful equipment.
And while I am on the subject, if you are selling stereo equipment on Ebay, or anywhere else for that matter, TURN THE *&%^*%* THING ON!!!!!! :nono:
We want to see if it works!!!! That has got to be one of the most aggravating things about an otherwise good auction. Ten photos of an amplifier/tuner/receiver turned OFF. What the ????
Sorry to rant, just thought I pass that helpful tip along for future reference.
