i found a portable voice of music reel to reel at a curb
just wish it was a telefunken tho
i pulled 8 tubes from it , all says vm on them
but two 12ax7a's says made in great britain
can anyone tell me if they are mullards or whatever ?
they tested good and thinking to install them in my fisher's
driver or preamp section
since all of my 12ax7's in the fisher are USA made
the numbers i see on the tubes 1022-220, 151, b2c2
and 1022-221, 151,b2a5

If the b2c2 and b2a5 are etched into the glass and the letters are capital instead of lowercase they would be Mullard tubes made in the Blackburn factory.

The code 1022 usually means Mullard as well - it's IEC Electronics, who were the importer for Mullard.
