Back in the 70s there was a Shanana wannabe band know as The Greaseband.They came from NJ,I'm pretty sure.I once saw them on NJ public tv.They were quite good,better than Shanana.Did some great covers of doowop songs.
Does anyone know of an lp or cd reissue by this group?-thks-Bob

Must be a US band that doesn't recognize history. Cocker's Greaseband made a wonderful album. Chris Spedding I suppose was the leader, but they were really an ensemble.
