My insanely long thread title sums it up.

The switch works fine, it's just REALLY hard to move. If I want to listen to a 45, I start looking for vice grips and a sledgehammer.

I've been using this turntable for like a year now and have been meaning to ask someone about it, but it just doesn't bother me that much. The only thing keeping this table from being absolutely perfect is that knob.

It's the far left knob. Any suggestions?

If the knop pulls off try some Deoxit around the shaft.

I don't play 45s, so it doesn't really bother me, but if you find a solution I would like to know also!

For stuck stuff I spray some teflon lube like Tri-Flo and work it back and forth. (Not while it's playing, obviously :D)

I will try DeoxIT, but I need to figure out how to get the knob off.

I can't work it back and forth. It's almost impossible to move it. There's not a safe enough tool to move it back and forth that fast. It's REALLY hard to move!
