Very nice.. I had that same LP storage until today. Just got them into the space I cleaned out in my entertainment center.

I've also got an Audio Source amp that looks EXACTLY like the amp you have... hhhmmm. They seem to be few and far between. I picked mine up at a pawn shop going out of buisness for $20. As soon as I get back from vacation in a week, it's going out in the garage with my old Technic towers and the Kenwood tuner I just picked up for $15 :)

I gotta ask though.. how much vibration and rumble are you getting out of that fine Mitsubishi sitting on top of all those speakers?

You got me curious with the amp, so I just went and looked up what I have.. WOW.. that was a score.. I had no idea they cost $300

Regarding the rumble....The TT is sitting on top of an old Stromberg Carlson console. So it isn't really in contact with any active speakers. Plus after the pics were taken I did some further isolation with brass cone type adjustable spikes in order to further isolate and level the TT. This an old farm house and it's hard to find anything either plum or level.....sigh.

The amp is simply the best I have ever owned, and that includes some pretty decent amps.

OK.. wondered about the console if it was runnign or not. I still coun't get by with my table that close to my speakers. Things just shake too much...

I can understand the farm house. lived in a few myself, and had a hell of a time getting my table level in one of them.

As far as the amp. I've always like it, and it has always sounded great, but I didn't think it was anything that special until I just started reading some reviews of it.. I'm starting to have wonders about putting it out in the garage with all the dust and dirt, and metal shavings from all the grinding I do...

You got a nice listening space there.. and some great gear! :thmbsp:

Thank you,
This was the last revision with the spikes. In a place like this you need to be resourceful.....

Oh, and when Cableguy says he's had some good amps, that's an understatement. He's had some *seriously* good amps!!!

Just posted on the "Redneck Fest", hope you can make it up here!

(*Note: I went to help move the furniture in - there was only the one chair, and all the gear spread out on the floor... :music: )

The TT is sitting on top of an old Stromberg Carlson console. So what's in the console? How about a picture of it? Nice setup. :thmbsp:

The console only has the TT and speakers remaining. It did have a ASR 433 amp and tuner at one time. I like it for its rugged construction and good looks.....Plus since I started using it as a stand I have had little to no issues with TT rumble...

heres a link to the original thread regarding the SC console...

I believe many of us favor your LP storage device. I've upgraded mine to include boxes. Makes a world of difference for keeping them cataloged.
