As for the Theta Pearl - yes, it's good, and probably worth the asking price. I have been very happy with the Theta Miles as a transport; the Miles is essentially the same as the Pearl, with D/A built in to make it a stand-alone CD player. The only hesitation I'd have with the Pearl is that it is now getting fairly old, and I am concerned about the availability of parts.
