Put a craigslist to give away my Dahlquist PDQ-1500. I had noticed problems a couple of years ago, and put it aside.
Now I've brought it upstairs and plugged it in and at the moderate volume playing on the NPR classical program it sounds fine.
Got someone coming over from Omaha right now, and have had two emails.
I'm pretty sure the cone was bottoming out or otherwise scraping, and then the amp seemed to have become noisy.
Don't hear any of that.
LOL someone is gonna get a great deal.
