For those of you who don't know, Toasted Almond is a Flying Boom Operator-refueler-in the Air Force. He's been doing it for longer than a lot of us have been alive. Dangerous job, & while the fighter jocks have all the glamour, its guys like George that make the jet jockeys look good.

I spent ten years in the Air Force,and I can vouch for the complete importance of TA's job.The Flying Boom Operators/refuelers and all the crew chiefs are the backbone of our Air Force.When things go wrong,the axe always falls on them rather than those precious Tom Cruise wannabes.But these guys are the reason that they can continue to fly 30 plus year old aircraft with little incident.
BTW,I always thought the Toasted Almond name had something to do with his complexion and heritage.Shows you I dont know shit.
