Any thoughts on buying one of these used off ebay??
I heard their 2,000 dollars new and it's going for $510.
How would it compare to a newer Music Hall cd player??
Thanks,
Greg

Be curious to hear your impressions of this Linn. Cannot recall ever hearing one.

Had a Genki in my main system (all Linn) since 99, not seen any reason to replace it.. Great machine. Just remember Linn can still repair anything they ever made, unusual these days if not unique...

Does anyone have pictures of the inside of a CD player? I do't think I have ever seen a Linn product in person.

well no inside pics from me! it works perfectly, always had, and i plan on keeping it that way!
i love it. it was the best cd player i have heard under 3k (Canadian) at the time, now the rega and others may be better but i had auditioned it against the highly regarded arcam fmj33 and at first the arcam was better but the more i listened the more the arcam sounded like it added something while the linn just sounded more natural... kind of like mcintosh where at first others impress but after a while you become fatigued and wish you had bought something more musical?
it has never had a hiccup, disc error, need turning off and on etc. in many years of playing and i cant say that for anything else i have owned long term
exceptional engineering and for that money you cant go wrong. it even has a built in pre...
