Howdy Everyone, and welcome to all the new folks. I've been hanging around here for awhile now, and consider AK my second home. When I got into this hobby a couple years ago I knew absolutely nothing about High-Fidelity audio systems, and even less about computors and the net. I found a few boards before this one, but never could get a response. I guess my ignorance of audio stuff and lack of forum etiquet (and maybe poor spelling), was too much for the "in the know" guys to bear. All that changed when I found AK and made my first post. Not only did I get help with my question, but I also had a couple members step up and sort of show me the ropes. I especially remember luvinvinyl helping me with photo posting and even getting my first avatar. In plain talk, I've found the folks here to be extremely knowledgeable, but not snooty. Eager to help, but not pushy (they will help you with YOUR ideas). My hope now is that someday I will have learned enough about tube audio, that I can give back some of what was so freely given to me. If anyone ever thinks I may be able to help them with anything audio, don't hesitate to contact me. Jay

Can we get that set up on PP so I don't have to worry about being late again?

I don't think Jay has a very good sense of aesthetics (avatars) but he is very cool.

Hey I played football in high school....................oh, the avatar. Heck, nobody likes Bob (except ol' smilin Mrs. Bob). I guess I'll have to look around for something else. :scratch2:

...and Jay has been passing on his knowledge (and some merchandise) on tube amps to me. As my sig line says...

I think that one of your nice tube amp monsters might make a nice avatar.
