I believe you own the Altec 604's. How do the A-5's differ. sonically and visually? Do you know of a webpage that has photos of some vintage Altec gear? I'm still looking into alternatives for my Sonatinas. There is a fella on AA who is using a Moth si2a3 amp with the Altecs.

I just noticed the recent post by Don McRichie (THANKS) in Vintage that address my questions. Great links Dave, and nice job by Dr. Edgar (of EdgarHorn speakers) for compling all those vintage brochures! Man, those A-5 series speakers are wacked!
