I'm 51, I started fishing record players out of the trash on dump days back in the 60's. A long strange trip since then. I love most all the music but for rap, and not so much heavy metal. Classical and jazz seem to be where my head is at these days.

I have two grown children, thus a bit of extra income to pick up the pieces I used to long for but could not afford back when.

I remember the 70's and the stereo wars quite well, considering the ingestion of controlled substances at the time! :nono:

There's a modern high-end rig in my life as well as numerous vintage pieces. I enjoy them all. As to AK, I registered a way back but didn't really participate until about a year ago, when the so called "higher-end" forums I hung at got stale for me.

I tend to be very down-to-earth and quite opinionated, and not politically correct. Thus I have found myself quite at home here with the good crowd at AK. If I piss you off with my opinions please remember to take them at what you paid! :smoke::D

Fortunately in Mass many of the AK folks are pretty tight. I've met quite a few and am glad to know them. This forum and it's members are #1 for me.
