Hello All,
I believe this is my first post ever. I've been trolling (is that bad?) the forums for some time now, but due to some error was unable to complete registration until about a month ago. I just turned 22 on July 30th. Coincidentally, I also finished my first speaker surround repair on the same day. Currently work at a women's shelter.
I'm relatively new to vintage audio. All of the gear I've purchased has been local: Sansui 221, G-5700, G-8700db, Kenwood KR-8050. I just have 3 sets of speakers: Pioneer CS-06A, CS-88a, HPM-900. I havn't tested the 900s yet. When I bought them the other week, the surrounds had completely rotted. I purchased surrounds locally from ReEdger (can't thank you enough!), and just finished the job on my birthday. Can't wait to hear what they sound like.
This community seems so much more enjoyable compared to others. Everyone here is warm and ready to lend a helping hand whenever someone is in need. May this be the first of many more posts to come.
