Anyone interested in a Michigan gathering

I think its about time to put some faces with the screen names. I would like to have a gathering of AK members over at my place for a few tunes a some BS'in. Anyone interested ?

Ive got a small place but all are welcome. If your interested let me know what day/days are good for you and maybe we can put this together. I am just outside of Detroit. Please reply here or drop me a note.

I work early AMs, but am off weekends so I'm pretty easy to schedule. You're literally just a couple miles down the road, so whatever you come up with, should be fine with me.

I gotta say i was a bit surprised by the amount of folks that are interested in attending.

Here is what I have been thinking. There is way to little space at my place so I am looking into renting a larger hotel suite in the Detroit area for a day lets say for now in the middle of February. I have the chow and brew covered and will work on getting a local shop or two to maybe demo some gear for us. We could maybe set up a couple of systems and just listen to tunes and BS the day away.

Nothing is definite but if you all are interested I would be more then happy to try and make it happen.

So what do you think ?

I mentioned on another thread - http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15006 - that I would be willing to host an English speaker listening session. I have two pair of speakers that we can use, and others are welcome to bring english speakers to listen to. I have enough equipment (Pioneer SX-737, and others) to drive them all. It should be in April sometime - the 3rd or 4th weekend sounds like a nice time (I have to check with the boss to make sure it is OK :D ;) :D ). I live in Okemos, BTW. It would start around 1:00 PM and go until on the Saturday of the determined weekend.

Let me know what others think?
