Can Harmon Kardon a/v receiver 247 accept 7.1PCM via HDMI from the PS3? The PS3 can take blue-ray audio (or 7.1 games) and convert it to 7.1 PCM so you dont have to have a HDMI ver 1.3 receiver, a HDMI ver 1.1 will work this way. Anyway I was wondering if anyone knew.

My brother just bought this exact receiver.
and a ps3 too. he said that the tuner adjusts for the best possible set up and sends it to the tv etc.
He's still learning what this reciever is doing so stay tuned.
