Looks like most of the Linn posts here are regarding analog, to which I do not relate! (not yet anyway...)
anybody else have linn digital components?

Hi LIONKING,
Saw your signature showing Linn CD12, is that the Sondek CD12 which is no longer in production? Wow! I have been trying to look for it (although I am a true blue McIntosh nuthead) cause I am trying to collect this nice piece of engineering marvel.
Any advise where I can go look for a used BUT mint piece?
Thanks

Sorry Jerry but no one wants to part with that piece. So loved is the CD12 that a local diplomat travels with it, a small integrated amp and a pr of LS35A's.

Whah! U kidding me? :yikes: No?
Sincerely, I would like to be able to see one - in its full glory before making the plunge as it is a very costly piece, even when sold as used. Wont bet on bidding on it on some websites (hey Exracer, sincere thanks for the help in locating one - but need to be careful as I had bad experience before and would not wish to part with so much cash for another lesson).
Cheers!

My wife will NEVER EVER say that - Its ME who would! She would just say "nice looking, but I can never figure why you are paying so much for these things!!!" :D
And to add insult to injury, she would just say, "I am just waiting for the next story to come about why these so called "The Best" today would need a change/upgrade ....... :D
Oh well, woman ... what do they know about McIntosh and hifi? Ouch!... she just saw what I posted .... Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! ...... :tears:

I like Linn source components, both analog and digital are fine but, if your going to get into playing the little silver discs, why not look into a used Unidisk player?!
Happy Listening! :beatnik:
