Made final arrangements with the hotel today. We are all going to be on the same floor (probably the 5th) like last year. One difference is, unlike last year, there are other groups meeting the same weekend and the hotel is going to be nearly full.

That means it's time to make your reservations and important to get it done. All the hotel details are in this post. (http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showpost.php?p=1210664&postcount=38) The hotel is going to hold our block of rooms until Sept 5th, although I think I can get them to give us a little more time.

After you make reservations please post here or PM me so I can have a count of how many will be attending.

For those who might be making a last minute decision about attending the best way to be assured of a room is go ahead and reserve a room and cancel it if you find you won't be able to attend. I am also going to have a couple rooms reserved in my name to be available to anyone who might need one at the last minute.

Hey guys, you need to make hotel reservations. So far the only reservations they have are from Richard C., Audiopeasant and myself. They are only going to hold rooms for us until next week.

If you have made reservations the hotel does not have it identified as part of our group. Let me know if that is the case.

Most folks with listening rooms are arriving on Friday. As I recall everyone started getting there late afternoon. There were plenty of systems set up and Friday night ran pretty late.

If you want a listening/selling room just for Saturday and Saturday night it is possible you won't get into your room until after lunch. We have one other Sat only listening room so as it gets closer I'll be glad to see if they can arrange for an early check in for both of you.

ACtually, I got my room, it turns out I am going by myself, so I will get there on friday...and i will have them take one bed out....so i will sleep in my room...so when I lock the door, you guys stop the music...or keep it going so you wont hear the snores.

Bring a big vehicle, Jack. I plan to bring the Seeburgs, assuming I can get 'em finished by then. Good chance that I will, since I have all the parts... just waiting to be put together. :D

It is certainly an option. One reason we hold the Fest at the Wingate is each room has a sitting area suitable for setting up a system. Least expensive option for those coming from out of town.

Unless you are bringing a ton of gear you won't even need a double room with one bed removed. A king room and the sitting area should suit you fine.

I'm planning to be there for a good deal of the event, but it now looks like I will not be getting a room. I live just a few miles from the hotel and will have to shuttle back and forth. I look forward to seeing the folks I know and meeting those I don't yet know in person.
