Absolutely, and most folks think it sounds better louder and more compressed.
Then they will need it even louder as they destroy their ears inadvertently.
And I'm conflicted on this because I HATE the nanny state concept.
If there only was some way to show somebody's hearing response to them, and the change in it.

Anything cranked up will hurt your hearing.
