There is an edge and originality to his voice.

And an honesty.

He finished third or fourth on American Idol a couple of years ago.

But I think this guy has it - that something that makes you listen and smile.

Interesting, but not my cup of tea. Too much "clapping" and his voice carries it, not the music accompaniment. But I'd say better than most of the stuff out there these days ....
