"Aliens Ate My Buick" is one of my all time favorite demo CD's from back in my car audio days. It sounds pretty good on home stuff too!

Just did the t-shirt run for Amanda Carr (local jazz singer- check her out) a few days ago.

She lives about 2.5 miles from me- and less than a half mile from where I work.

The night she approved the art, Thomas Dolby had just flown in to her place to spend the night.

He had a small show tuesday in the city. Left his Seig (sp?) hard-drive powerpack at home. The hard-drive had all his music on it for his show- he was a bit concerned, needless to say.

I wonder if he got it sorted out in time for the show?

An aside- anyone under 30 at my shop had no idea who he was. Ugh.
