I had a membership for a while... I appear to have let it lapse. Found it almost impossible to keep my leech ratio at the right level - mostly, I guess, because I was grabbing obscure out of print stuff unavailable elsewhere, and was basically the last person to not have it (as a brand new subscriber, at the time).

Seems like you could find just about anything you were trying to find, no matter how small or obscure, though.

Yeah it takes some work to maintain the ratio. Well worth it IMHO, though. It keeps me aware of what is popular (to maintain ratio) but allows me to explore music like never before. Are most music fans here dedicated to purchasing/renting hard copies or are there a lot of digital music junkies too?

I've been a member for a while now. Haven't had any trouble keeping my ratio where it is supposed to be primarily because I need a larger hard drive so I've been selective about my downloads. I'm actually building a nice reserve so I will be able to get the music I want after I upgrade the HD.

I keep a lot of my music digitized, but if I had my way it would never replace hard copies for me. There is no equivalent to sorting through a rack of albums.
